Coaching Skills For Managers (in person, Glasgow)

Bring a Coaching Approach to Your Management Style

Managing people is rewarding and often demanding. Every day, managers navigate conversations, competing priorities and the needs of different personalities. Many managers tell us they want to feel more confident in these moments, especially when conversations become tricky or when staff need support to think for themselves.

This practical, two-day programme helps you strengthen your awareness of how you manage and become even more intentional in how you lead, support and challenge your staff. As your awareness grows, so does your ability to create the conditions where your people can grow too.

You’ll learn a coaching approach that encourages your staff to think more independently, take ownership, and bring even more of their potential to their work, while helping you feel more effective and confident in your role.

    Why Coaching Skills Matter

Traditional management approaches often rely on directing, problem-solving and control. While this can work in the short term, it often leaves staff dependent on their manager’s answers and less inclined to take initiative.

    A coaching approach is different.

A Coach Manager nurtures the potential of their people through meaningful conversations that help them think independently, overcome challenges, and build confidence in their own capabilities. This shift strengthens motivation, ownership, and confidence for both the manager and the team.
